This Duplex stainless steel, characterized by its austenitic-ferritic microstructure, offers remarkable resistance to corrosion, particularly in terms of stress corrosion cracking, corrosion fatigue, and erosion, while ensuring high strength. These properties are attributed to its approximately equal proportions of ferrite and austenite, as well as the high chromium and molybdenum content in its chemical composition.
